We are presenting here the unique trip which will cover almost destinations in northern India. Here we celebrated KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS named after the successful Operation Vijay in India on 26 July, in this tour we are going to meet our heros who sacrifice their life for our comfort. On this date in 1999, India successfully took command of the high outposts which had been lost to Pakistan. The Kargil war was fought for more than 60 days, ended on 26 July and resulted in loss of life on both the sides. The war ended with India regaining control of all the previously held territory, hence re-establishing the status quo ante bellum Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on 26 July every year in honors of the Kargil War’s Heroes. This day is celebrated in the Kargil–Dras sector and the national capital New Delhi, where the Prime Minister of India pays homage to the soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate every year. Functions are also organized all over the country to commemorate the contributions of the armed forces

16 JULY : DAY 1: DELHI – MANALI

Start your trip from Delhi to Manali covering a distance of 535 kms. Overnight travelling for Delhi to Manali.

17 JULY : DAY 2: MANALI

On arrival in Manali, check-in to the hotel and relax in hotel. You will free for own activity Later; come back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Manali.

18 JULY : DAY 3: MANALI - SARCHU

Today we will start for Sarchu, via Rohtang Pass , Keylong Darcha, zing-zing Bar. This highway route takes you into the heart of the mountains. Enjoy the splendid view as you pass through the Baralachha Pass (5000 meters above sea level). Keep driving towards Sarchu which is the border-line between Kashmir and Himachal. From there, get to the Sarchu camp. Relax for the rest of the day and keep a high intake on fluids to keep away AMS (acute mountain sickness).
Overnight stay in Sarchu.

19 JULY : DAY 4: SARCHU - LEH

The day starts with a lot of challenges. Today you will have to ride your motorbike through flat lands and get into the mountain horizon. Drive through the Tanglang-La Pass which is the second-highest motor-able mountain pass in the world at the height of 5300 meters. After crossing this pass, you will ride through well-maintained roads all the way to Leh. En-route, get to see the monasteries of Thiksey and Shey. These ancient monasteries are set on the top of a hill and are attractions of your tour. Check-in at the hotel in the borders of Changspa in Leh. Spend your time exploring the local places. Rest for the night.

20 JULY : DAY 5: LEH – KHARDUNG LA (5359M) – HUNDER (NUBRA VALLEY)

This Day Start after breakfast from leh to K-TOP (Khardungla Pass-The world highest motor – able road), stay at K-Top for max 15 minutes and continue to Hunder (Nobra Valley). Reach at Hunder and Check-in to Camp for night stay.

21 JULY : DAY 6: NUBRA - TURTUK

After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place Annexed by India only after the 1971 war, the village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. The village with the whole population of muslims still resembles mini Pakistan. The village's inhabitants still use traditional utensils which are crafted from stone. Explore the village of Turtuk the village offers views of beautiful valley, part of Shyok Valley. On clear days you can have glimpse of K2 mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan. Though a muslim village, there are few Gompas located on the plateau above Shyok River and there is a old royal house to see in village. Return to Nubra by the evening.

22 JULY : DAY 7: NUBRA - LEH

After breakfast, visit Diskit & Hunder Villages and monasteries take a stroll around the place to see the life style of people living at the northernmost region of India. Drive back to leh via Khardungla pass.

23 JULY : DAY 8: LEH - PANGONG LAKE

After an early breakfast, visit sightseeing places like Shey, Thiksey, Hemis and Sindhu Ghat and then proceed to Pangong via Changla Pass (17,586 feet) and the third highest pass of the world. Pangong Lake is a salt water body of 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. On a clear sunny day, you can see seven colour formations in the crystal clear salt water lake.

24 JULY : DAY 9: PANGONG LAKE - LEH

After breakfast, travel back to Leh. En route take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea. Return to Leh by afternoon. Rest of the day explore Leh town.

25 JULY: DAY 10: LEH- LAMAYURU - FOTU LA - NAMIK LA - KARGIL

This day after breakfast proceed to KARGIL via beautiful Namik-La and Fotu La pass and after travel have lunch at very beautiful city LAMAYURU and after continue to for KARGIL, After arriving in leh check-in to hotel and overnight stay in hotel at KARGIL.

26 JULY: DAY 11: KARGIL - SRINAGAR

This day after breakfast proceed to Kargil War Memorial to celibate Kargil Vijay Diwas with our real heroes (Indian Army) and the famous “ZOZI-LA” Pass and Drass sector which is very much known after Kargil war. After that we crossed via ZOZILA PASS and Sonmarg there arriving Check-in to hotel and take some rest overnight stay in hotel at SRINAGAR. Now time to travel famous places in Srinagar and around Srinagar Valley for sight-seen.

27 JULY :DAY 12 : SRINAGAR - JAMMU

This day of this tour we start from Srinagar to Jammu via panoramic view of Switzerland of Asia. After 6 hour of drive check-in to Hotel in Jammu. Now time to free your own activity travel famous places in Jammu. Overnight stay in hotel at Jammu.

28 JULY : DAY 13 : JAMMU : DELHI

After breakfast, have a 2 to 3 Hrs trip to Local and proceed to Delhi. after reach Delhi time to say bye with great memories of Indian army and with Tifa Holidays... Thank you
